Nokia plans to return with a bang !

     The biggest company of the 90's kids got widely forgotten between the race of iOS and Android. people didnt even conside buying any other phone except Nokia. It was considered "The Ultimate Standard' of phones back then ! Nokia came up with many phone series like the E,C,X,Z,T and N. But the most outstanding among them was the 'Lumia' series. It made a huge sale as soon as it was launched, but reduced gradually. According to windowscentral.com , Nokia sold just 10.5 million Lumias in holiday season of 2014 which was primarily due to the tag of "affordable smartphones".

     Now, since the end of Nokia-Microsoft deal is near , Nokia have revealed that they will be starting a new line of smartphones independently. Due to the current confusion between smartphones between Nokia and Microsoft ( like the Lumia series), Nokia has agreed to stop building phones till 2016. But in a recent interview, CEO of Nokia, Mr. Rajeev Suri told Manager Magazine in Germany that 'They are looking for suitable partners.' He said." Microsoft makes mobile phones. We(Nokia) would simply design them and make the brand name available for license." That is, any company can come by,use the Nokia name and design and sell the device as a product of that respective company.       For ex. Take the Nexus device. It was designed by HTC, Samsung, LG and Motorola and sold as a product of their own company and as a Google product.
     Hence, I am not sure if the next Nokia will be an Android or a Windows phone, but it will definitely be a bomb. Imagine an Android Nokia with the durability of the Nokia 1100 !!
